Morse Code Driller iPhone App

The Morse Code Driller includes a sequence of activities designed to help you learn and master the Morse Code. It includes a Review screen, a Mix & Match activity, two variations on Multiple Choice, and finally a drill where you pat the screen to tap out the codes to match test letters and numbers. You can choose to study letters, numbers or both and you can configure the drills to test all the selected letters and/or numbers once, or as many times as possible within a time limit you set.

The Review screen gives you a scrolling list of the Morse Code.

Start out with a simple little Mix & Match. Use your finger to connect letters and numbers to their Morse Code representations.

In the first Multiple Choice screen you are given a letter and must select the code for it.

Then in the second, slightly harder Multiple Choice screen you are given a code and must select the letter that matches it.

Finally, to prove your mastery of the Morse Code, tap codes in directly on the screen of your iPhone.


The small icon image is supposed to be a power drill on a field of Morse Code symbols. I know it looks like some sort of laser-ray pistol. Maybe version 2.0 of this program will have a better icon. Or maybe I'll write an app that features laser-ray pistols.
