August 2, 1999 - I think they painted the house...

Yeah, it's really September 5th, 1999.  (See July 28 for why I haven't updated the website in six weeks.)  If I remember correctly, they painted the exterior of the house.  So, be surprised with me while I try to figure out why I took these pictures...

Hey, I'm right!  I took these shots after they painted the exterior of the house.  We're grey people, so our house has a lot of grey (exterior paint, interior carpet, etc.)
Compare this shot to the pics on July 28.  Yep, they painted the house.
The painters actually did a very nice job, and were rather careful to not paint trum and other important things.  However, they decided that our animals did not to see where they were going upon exiting the house.  So they painted over the transparent flap of the dog door.
The painters weren't the only folks doing work.  The well service came out & dug the well.  This is our pump.  (Like the deck they made for us?)

They hit water at 40 feet (this is Florida remember...), but continued down & hit again at 70 feet.  They "sleeved" for 60 feet (so we won't get the water they found at 40 feet).  Preliminary, non-professional tests performed by us (aka. a sniff test, compare to the Vahle's water, etc.) seem to indicate that the water quality is good.

Our plumbing supply company has provided us with a sampling jar and will perform water tests for us gratis.  Rather nice of them.

A close up of the now painted wall.  This is the garage sideof the house (to the left of the garage door) - about the only really large expanse of wall without a true window on the entire exterior.
